Floating Button
The Floating Button is a dynamic element that remains fixed on the screen and overlays your webpage. It’s an ideal choice if you want to provide users with easy access to sign up for your referral program from any page on your website.
Use this widget if you:
Want a Persistent Call to Action: Ensure that a call-to-action to join your referral program is visible on every page of your website.
Seek Constant Visibility: Make your referral program easily accessible and always in view, encouraging more sign-ups and interactions.
Prefer Seamless Integration: Offer a non-intrusive way for users to engage with your referral program without disrupting their browsing experience.
User Experience:
Button Interaction: Users click the Floating Button.
Popup Display: The Advocate Dashboard appears as a popup, allowing users to sign up or interact with their referral details without leaving the current page.
Note: The Floating Button will only be displayed on pages where the Advocate Dashboard, Signup Widget, or Sharing Widget are not present. If multiple ReferralHero Widgets are used on the same page, the Floating Button will be overridden, and the other widgets will take precedence.
Install the Floating Button on Your Website:
Access Your Campaign Overview: Go to Campaign Overview > Edit Campaign > Launch Instructions and copy your Global Tracking Code.
Add the Tracking Code to Your Website: Insert the ReferralHero Tracking Code into the
<head>section of your website so it loads on every page.Open the Floating Button Settings: In the Campaign Overview, navigate to Edit Campaign > Launch.
Select the Interaction Type: Under the section labeled ‘How advocates will access their dashboard’, choose the ‘Advocate Dashboard’ tab.
Enable and Customize the Floating Button: Toggle the ‘Enable Floating Button’ option. Once enabled, customize the button’s text, color, and position to match your website’s branding and ensure visibility.
Verify Changes: All changes are saved automatically, so you don't need to take any further action after customizing the Floating Button. Ensure it is visible across your website pages where appropriate.
